Heritage Family Medicine is committed to being available to its patients when needed. Whether in the office, or by telemedicine, or email us! Our aim is to meet your medical needs promptly and efficiently.

HFM has appointments available 5 days per week - often that same day!

Monday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Thursday 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm *phones may be switched to closed mode as early as 5:00 pm.

Friday 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

If you are an established patient and actually ill or injured, we will see you today or the next business day-guaranteed. If necessary, we will extend our normal hours to do so.

Whenever possible, we will extend the same effort even to those seeking only routine medical care for chronic conditions, physical exams. etc. We will see you that day or the next. If honoring this commitment becomes difficult, HFM will close its doors to new patients until our capacity to serve your needs can be expanded.

Phones are answered "LIVE," only when all available staff are engaged in active care for others will our phones be answered by machine. If you reach our machine, you may leave a message, request a call back, or try again later.

Phones are NOT answered between 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.

If seriously ill or injured you must go to your nearest hospital Emergency Department where they are equipped to handle such situations. If rapid intervention is required call 911. Please DO NOT abuse the 911 system simply for transportation.

For non-life threatening, yet urgent concerns, HFM wishes to be helpful to you when necessary:

  • Call us at (360)704-A DOC (2362).
  • During regular hours: We will see you as promptly as your condition requires.
  • After hours: Our telephone answering machine will give you specific additional instructions how to reach your physician or their "coverage."

If your evening or weekend need requires clinical evaluation we recommend an Urgent Care Center.

Please use the after hours service only for bonafide medical "urgencies" where a return phone call is needed within 30 minutes. It is our expectation that knowing that you can be seen the next day or following, will keep after hours calls to a minimum.
If you do not receive a response within 30 minutes, call again. If there is no response the second time assume that something in the system has broken down. If your need must be attended to, go to an Urgent Care Center or Hospital Emergency Department.

Administrative and General Communication: A non medical issue may be addressed by e-mailing our staff. We will respond to these general inquiries as quickly as possible throughout the business day.
